Science whiz Caoimhe has the write stuff

AN Irish girl who scored top marks in her A level exams last week has won a prestigious international science award.

The Daily Telegraph BASF Science Writers Award attracted hundreds of entries from Britain and Ireland.

Caoimhe McKenna from Dungiven, Co Derry, submitted an article on how genetics give men and women different colour vision, which one of the judges described as cheeky and engaging.
