A FATHER of 12 who won €2.5 million in the Lotto is concerned that an extortion bid by thugs may force him to leave his home.

Thomas Roe, a fitter from Bluebell, Dublin, remains defiant, however, that the thugs who fired shots at his home this week will not get one cent from his cash prize.

“We’re not going to be intimidated by thugs,” he said yesterday.
