RESIDENTS will plead with Cork city’s planning boss today to stop over-development in their area.

Planners are due to make a decision on a four-storey apartment scheme on Dennehy’s Cross on Thursday.

But a delegation of long-time residents of Bishopstown will meet planning boss Jim O’Donovan this afternoon to express their concerns. They are also expected to meet councillors.
