Two die in weekend road traffic accidents

TWO young people died in separate road accidents at the weekend as traffic fatalities continue to soar above the corresponding period in 2004.

The victim of a two-vehicle daylight crash in Co Meath yesterday morning was named as John Larkin, aged 23, from Castlelawns, Summerhill.

On Saturday night, English-born Linda Doomes, aged 22, who had been living in Co Wexford, died after a collision in Co Tipperary.
