Open House closes its doors

DESPITE protestations from Dublin’s Lord Mayor Royston Brady and many viewers, RTÉ’s popular afternoon Open House programme has been axed.

Yesterday presenters Mary Kennedy and Marty Whelan bade a fond farewell to their viewers when they closed the door for the last time on the show.
