Bus drivers’ shelter a ‘public eyesore’

A TEMPORARY shelter for bus drivers on Munster’s top shopping street was described last night as a “public eyesore”.

Labour said the ongoing decision by Bus Éireann to house their staff in the cabin on Cork’s St Patrick’s Street during its term as European Capital of Culture was “nothing short of a disgrace”.

The street was named Ireland’s best shopping street last year.
