McCartney and Rafferty families join forces

MURDER victim Robert McCartney's sisters have joined forces with the family of another man allegedly killed for defying the IRA and vowed to bring the killers to justice.

Relatives of Joseph Rafferty, 29, who was shot dead outside his Dublin apartment in April, pledged the two families will work together.

After meeting at Paula McCartney's home in Belfast's Short Strand District, Esther Rafferty claimed republicans had murdered and intimidated in each case.
