A RADICAL plan that could shape the future of a West Cork town enters a critical phase shortly.

Town councillors in Clonakilty will be advised tonight that no observations or submissions were made by the public in relation to the proposed redevelopment of the existing GAA grounds.

The playing fields and grounds of the famed Clonakilty club are on the market at over €7 million. Planning permission is currently progressing on a new complex for the club on the outskirts of the town at Ahamilla.
