Baby food recalled amid health fears

HEINZ has recalled eight baby food products amid fears they could cause vomiting, diarrhoea or serious allergic reaction.

The eight savoury meals are labelled as milk-free although they contain whey powder a derivative of cow's milk.

Heinz asked Irish and British supermarkets to remove 90,000 jars and cans from shelves over the next 36 hours after an infant in Britain suffered a mild allergic reaction.
