RTÉ big guns misfire as radio figures show audience losses

RTÉ had that sinking feeling yesterday with all its top broadcasters suffering audience losses in the latest radio listenership figures.

Independents, Today FM and Dublin current affairs station Newstalk 106 FM made the biggest gains.

Both stations recorded strong growth in audience figures, especially through key presenters such as Ian Dempsey, Eamon Dunphy and George Hook.
