Victory for Kinsale team in tight quiz race

THERE was no foregone conclusion in the early stages of last night’s TCH All-Ireland Schools Quiz at the Imperial Hotel, Cork.

The teams remained neck-and-neck until the very closing stages of the hotly contested competition.

Eventually, after the lead had changed a number of times, it was to be victory for Kinsale Community School, with 100 marks, over Christians Brothers, Cork, who ran them a tight second with 98 marks.
