Triumphant fans welcome Red Hand heroes home

MANY thousands of ecstatic Tyrone fans turned out last night to welcome home their sporting heroes.

The Red Hands, complete with the Sam Maguire Cup, were given a tumultuous welcome in Aughnacloy, Ballygawley and Omagh as they returned to the county following their second All-Ireland football triumph in three seasons.

The Red Hands defeated pre-match favourites Kerry in Sunday’s final.
