Probe into signing of voting registers at garda station
This breach in regulations was revealed in a six-month garda investigation into alleged vote rigging in Thurles following claims of widespread personation and that a number of "dead people" had voted.
The investigation resulted in a 50-page file being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions. Earlier this week the DPP ruled there was "insufficient evidence" to prosecute anyone for alleged vote rigging.
