Boy fails to identify attacker on CCTV

A YOUNG boy sexually assaulted in a toilet in a McDonald’s outlet was unable to identify his attacker from closed circuit television footage yesterday.

The seven-year-old viewed the footage of the inside of the fast-food restaurant in Tallaght, south west Dublin, but his grandmother said the footage was “very bad quality”.

“A boy on the film that was shown turned out not to be him so the gardaí will come back to us when they have footage,” she said.
