Tall ships TV special to revive memories

TALL SHIPS revellers who feel all at sea since the festivities ended are now being offered an opportunity to relive the high points of the four-day event.

Having provided extensive radio, television and online coverage of the event in the lead up to and during July 6-9, RTÉ is now set to rekindle fond memories of Waterford’s hosting of the Tall Ships’ Races 2005.

A special hour-long television programme will be screened on RTÉ One at 5pm on Monday, August 1.
