Girls go gaga at Westlife album signing

Westlife star, Kian Egan and the rest of the band showed they could rival footballer Roy Keane as a public attraction when hundreds of fans queued for several hours in Dublin yesterday to view their pop heroes.

Sustained and shrill yelps of teenage hysteria greeted Westlife as they arrived outside the HMV store in Grafton Street in scenes reminiscent of the Manchester United player's triumphant homecoming to Cork last week.
