Trial not over for Bailey as faces agonising wait on €700,000 bill

AFTER a libel case which bore all the hallmarks of a murder trial, Ian Bailey, the self-confessed chief suspect in the Sophie Toscan du Plantier killing, lost his action against six newspaper titles yesterday.

Mr Bailey now faces an agonising wait to hear who will foot the legal bills estimated at more than €700,000.

The judge branded him a publicity seeker and a violent man.
