Mid West gets head start in Tidy Towns

MID-WEST entries are being given a head start in this year’s Tidy Towns competition. A special talk tonight has been organised to give committees from around the region some expert advice on how to clock up winning points.

Mid West gets head start in Tidy Towns

Shannon Development is inviting Tidy Towns committees from counties Clare, Limerick, south Offaly and north Tipperary to attend the seminar to help improve their participation, and chances of victory in Ireland’s biggest environmental competition.

Thes event takes place at the Radisson Hotel, Limerick. The seminar will be opened by Minister of State at the Department of the Environment Batt O’Keeffe. Eanna Ní Lamhna, president of An Taisce will be among the speakers. And Tidy Town’s adjudicator Eamonn de Stafort will give an insight into how the adjudication system works.
