€100m housing project gets go-ahead

PERMISSION has been granted for an estimated €100 million housing project in one of Cork’s largest satellite towns.

Cork County Council confirmed yesterday that it has given the green light to Castlelands Construction to build 376 homes at Kilmoney, Carrigaline.

The Mallow-based company, which has a number of large projects ongoing throughout the county, was given approval for the massive development along with 75 conditions.
