Families remember tragic anniversary

TWO distraught families will gather separately today to remember a father and daughter who died tragically in a double shooting one year ago.

Christine O’Sullivan and her family and friends will pray for her six-year-old daughter, Deirdre Crowley, a bright and inquisitive little girl who was the apple of her eye.

She plans to visit the family grave and has put together a collage of pictures of Deirdre, her favourite photos from when she was just a little baby. The memorial card also features some of Deirdre’s drawings and writing.
