Viewer’s complaint about effin’ Dunphy and crack about drugs rejected
At least that’s what the producers of Ryan Confidential, Gerry Ryan’s TV chat show, relied upon to counter a complaint about Eamon Dunphy, who was, for once, on the receiving end of an interview.
Viewer Derek Lawlor complained to the Broadcasting Complaints Commission that the interview, shown on April 14, was laced with swear words and alluded to drug-taking. He also objected to the fact that Dunphy smoked throughout the programme and Ryan lit a cigar towards the end.
