Six arrested in major Limerick heroin raid

SIX men were arrested in Limerick yesterday after more than 70 gardaí swept through the city in a dawn raid to crack down on its heroin trade.

Two of the six are members of a drugs gang who are key players in the city’s deadly feud.

The six, aged between 18 and 30, are due to appear at Limerick District Court this morning on drugs trafficking charges.
