Raider vowed to kill couple if he was jailed

ONE of the armed and masked raiders who terrorised Gary and Katie O’Donovan as their four children slept upstairs warned that if either raider spent as much as one day in jail because of anything the couple said they would come back and kill them.

Mrs O’Donovan said she was in her bedroom at the time when the raider with the silver revolver said they had found them once and they would find them again even if they moved to a different country.

She said as she opened the door at 9pm she heard her husband’s voice in her head saying “Don’t ever open the door to strangers.” But it was too late.
