Gardaí make door-to-door enquiries after alleged rape

GARDAÍ conducted door-to-door enquiries in a Cork town yesterday after reports of a sex attack.

A woman made a complaint to gardaí that she was the victim of a sexual assault in Macroom town on Saturday night.

Gardaí said last night that investigations are continuing. They disclosed that parts of New Street were forensically examined yesterday.
