Horse manure problem ‘must be solved’

For several years, attempts have been made to deal with the vexed issue and Killarney jarveys have opposed suggestions to attach manure holding devices called horse nappies to their jaunting cars.

Killarney Town Council is making a renewed effort to find a solution and is to convene a meeting of interested groups, including the Jarveys' Association and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), which manages Killarney National Park.
