Workers’ concerns ‘must be addressed to avoid industrial action’

Speaking after 300 Aer Rianta workers attended a 90-minute meeting at the airport, SIPTU branch secretary Tony Kenny said if the Government failed to address the concerns of workers, then industrial action could not be ruled out.

There was no disruption to flights during yesterday’s meeting and all services operated to schedule. An Aer Rianta spokesperson said the inconvenience to passengers was kept to an absolute minimum.
