Schools’ anti-bullying strategy urged to fight problem in workplace

A NATIONAL strategy to tackle bullying in schools is needed to help children achieve their potential and to prevent workplace bullying in the future, according to the opposition.

Fine Gael spokeswoman for education Olwyn Enright said stopping bullying at school could have a major knock-on effect in preventing workplace bullying,

which she said costs Irish business up to €3 million a year through poor productivity and absenteeism.
