Laughter the best medicine for sick children

LAUGHTER is sometimes the best medicine for sick children and that’s why staff at the national children’s specialist hospital injected as much of it as they could into their Ho Ho Day yesterday.

The day got off to a flying start with Santa and Mrs Claus arriving at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin on board a Irish Air Corps helicopter.

And boy band Zoo, who are very good friends of the hospital, took time out of their hectic schedule to launch the event and helped Santa and Mrs Claus deliver presents to children on the wards.
