GARDAÍ in Dublin are seeking the public's assistance in locating the whereabouts of 14-year-old Philip Joyce, who has been missing from his home in Ronanstown since Saturday, August 7.

Philip is described as 5'6" in height, of slim build with brown eyes and brown hair.

When he was last seen in the vicinity of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre he was wearing a blue and white Nike tracksuit and white Adidas trainers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the gardaí at Ronanstown on 01-6667700 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666111.

Meanwhile, a five-year-old boy who went on a mountain trek with two dogs and sparked a major search was back home in Wicklow yesterday.

The Irish Red Cross Glen of Imaal Rescue Team and the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team, assisted by gardaí, found the boy safe and well in woodland near his aunt’s house in Manor Kilbride, County Wicklow.

The boy had travelled with the two dogs for more than three miles before he was found by searchers.

He was reported missing at 7.30 a.m. on Monday and was found in woodland near Ballyloe.
