Net closes on Robert’s killer
As the East Cork town of Midleton prepares to shut down today for the funeral of the 11-year-old, gardaí leading the investigation expressed confidence the terrible crime will be solved.
Robert was abducted, strangled and his body dumped in undergrowth close to Inch strand, a scenic holiday spot on the East Cork coast.
