Gardaí abused by mob while going to aid of dying boy

GARDAÍ were abused by a mob of youths when they went to the assistance of a 14-year-old Limerick boy they found dying on a city street.

The gardaí found the boy lying unconscious in O’Malley Park this week.

He died shortly after being brought to hospital. It is believed that the boy may have inhaled a toxic substance.
