IRA in an unreal world, says Trimble

ULSTER Unionist leader David Trimble yesterday accused the IRA leadership of living in an unreal world.

Mr Trimble hit back after the Provisionals accused his party of seeking to impose unacceptable and unrealistic ultimatums and blamed republicans for the crisis in the Northern Ireland peace process.

Mr Trimble said: “It was their recklessness that precipitated all of this, and it is up to them to sort it out.”
