LIMERICK students are planning a naughty night out. And it’s all in a good cause.

Students plan naughty night out for charity

The Limerick School of Art and Design students have been applying their thoughts to scanty underwear designs for a special exhibition on Wednesday.

The students have chosen Ann Summers as a theme for their show which will take place at Dolan’s Warehouse on the Dock Road.

Caroline Barry, a 20-year-old second year from Clonakilty, said: “We have 17 students, girls and fellows, who will model lingerie, boxers and thongs. They will play roles such as nurses, firemen and policemen. They are giving up their time to raise money for a good cause, Aids Awareness.”

But their models will be spared their blushes.

“They won’t be too revealing and they will be relatively covered up,” said Caroline.

The fashion show takes place from 7pm to 9pm and this will be followed by live music and DJs.

There are a limited 350 tickets on sale for €5 each.

The college is now regarded as the foremost fashion design academy in this country.

Students have won all the major awards for young designers.
