We’re ripped off but better off, majority believe

SUBSTANTIALLY more people believe that quality of life has improved over the past five years despite concerns about the cost of living and rip-off Ireland, the Irish Examiner/Lansdowne opinion poll has found.

Some 33% of voters believe the quality of life has improved since 2000 compared to 24% who believe it has got worse.

However, the largest number, 41%, are of the opinion that the quality of life has stayed the same. Only 2% express no opinion or don’t know.
