Mum of the Year in seventh heaven

A WOMAN who devoted her life to raising seven adopted children has been named Mum of the Year.

Pauline O’Reilly, 67, from Swords, Co Dublin, was chosen from 16 finalists entered by friends and family in the Woman’s Way Mum of the Year competition, which attracted a record 500 entries.

It was only when Pauline left hospital after recovering from a life- threatening illness earlier this year that she realised her family had nominated her for the title.
