O’Keeffe move ‘could cost FF two seats’

FIANNA FÁIL could lose its two Dáil seats in Cork North-West if all three candidates do not comply with a very tight voting pact, Deputy Michael Moynihan warned yesterday.

The parachuting of Junior Minister Batt O’Keeffe into this constituency means that there will be three FF TDs chasing two seats.

With just over 50% of the vote in the last general election, the best FF can hope for is to keep two seats.
