Public on wild cat alert

Gardaí summoned a Department of Agriculture and Food official to the scene at an out farm near forestry at Newbliss, Clones, where he examined the three-month-old Charolais.

The calf is believed to have been dead for three days and had markings not consistent with having been attacked by dogs or a fox.
