Rise in 10-19 age group seeking drug abuse help

MORE 10 to 19-year-olds than ever are booking themselves in for treatment for drug and alcohol addiction.

Young people are getting hooked on alcohol and drugs a lot faster than before, a report shows.

The number of people of all ages looking for treatment for drug and alcohol misuse in the south-east is continuing to increase, according to the only health board report of its type.
