Man threatened to decapitate night club staff with sword

A MAN who threatened to decapitate night club staff with a sword and plunged the weapon into the wooden door as it was shut in his face is likely to appear in court over the coming days.

Door staff at the Meadowlands Night Club in Bunclody, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, had a lucky escape after a row broke out between the man and two door staff.

The man’s girlfriend is barred from the club. She was not with him on Saturday night but he took exception to the staff’s refusal to allow her into the premises in the past.
