Management face harassment allegations
Prisca Grady, aged 40, of Logan’s Bridge, Mountshannon, Co Clare, is taking an action for alleged constructive dismissal against the bank.
The former ICC investment director is claiming she was forced to resign from her 127,000 a year position in July 2000 as a result of oppressive, aggressive and threatening behaviour
towards her by a number of bank officials. The case is being taken against the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Ltd which acquired ICC after Ms Grady had
resigned. However, the bank is rejecting all of Ms Grady’s allegations.
It is understood last-ditch efforts by the bank to reach a settlement with Ms Grady have failed and the hearing is scheduled to go ahead
tomorrow morning.
ICC Venture Capital executives are believed to have been anxious to avoid publicity about the case as they are concerned Ms Grady will also raise questions about the management of funds within the bank.
