60 Hasbroworkers strike over pay dispute

The staff at the Hasbro toy manufacturing plant in Waterford took the action because of what they described as delays in implementing the latest tranche in pay hikes due to them under Sustaining Progress.

Further lunchtime protests are planned over the coming days. The workers say they have already voted in favour of industrial action and will follow through with that threat unless progress is made on their pay issue over the coming weeks.
