Bank’s behaviour ‘deeply disturbing’

National Irish Bank was rounded on last night after the findings of the two High Court Inspectors were published yesterday.

National Irish Bank’s behaviour in the 10 years to 1998 was described as “deeply disturbing” by Tánaiste Mary Harney.

The financial regulator, IFSRA, said the report’s findings and NIB’s response were being examined in detail.
