Children not using seat belts in back seats at risk

MOST children are being put at risk by not being strapped into the back seats of cars.

The figure is as high as six out of ten children, according to the National Safety Council (NSC), which yesterday launched a new DVD to tackle the problem.

“It is a shocking figure and we hope to reverse that trend by producing the DVD,” said spokesperson Brian Farrell.
