Gardaí appeal for witnesses

GARDAÍ investigating a series of sex attacks in Galway city have appealed for the driver or occupants of a hackney car who may have witnessed the latest incident to contact them.

A woman was sexually assaulted as she walked at St Patrick’s Avenue on Eyre Square between 4.10am and 4.25am on Wednesday, February 25.

Anyone who was in the laneway or on Prospect Hill at the time of the attack is also asked to get in touch with Galway garda station at [phone].
