Two held in wheelie bin murder probe

DETECTIVES in the North were yesterday given another 36 hours to question two men about the murder of a man whose charred remains were found in a wheelie bin.

The body of the victim, who has not yet been identified, was discovered at a derelict cattle market close to the Masonic Hall in Limavady at the weekend.

Police believe he may have been murdered in a flat used as a drinking den and bundled into the bin, which was then set alight.
