Lord Mayor’s chain of office for Martin

FIANNA FÁIL Cllr Seán Martin, brother of Health Minister Micheál Martin, will be elected Lord Mayor of Cork on Monday.

He will hold the office during the city's year as European Capital of Culture.

A mayoral electoral pact between the city council's three main political parties was finally agreed yesterday.
