IRELAND’S dirtiest city is to be named and shamed as part of a campaign to stamp out litter.

Dirtiest city in Ireland to be named and shamed by IBAL

The league table, organised by Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL), will target city streets, rail and bus stations, colleges and roads signs in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Galway and Limerick.

The five cities, as well as 29 towns, will be surveyed throughout the year, with the dirtiest named and shamed in December.
