Gardaí seek answers to beauty spot tragedy

GARDAÍ were last night investigating the discovery of the bodies of a couple in a car in a picturesque Co Leitrim wood.

The bodies of a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were found in a green Vauxhall Cavalier by a local farmer just after 9am yesterday in a remote area of Glenfarne Wood near the Sligo to Enniskillen Road, seven miles from Manorhamilton. A small amount of blood was found at the scene.

The Fermanagh-registered car had been parked in the same spot since at least Friday evening.
