THE woman who died of Legionnaire’s disease was diagnosed with the condition six days before her death, it emerged last night.

The confirmation came as the South Eastern Health Board outlined the make-up of its four-member independent team to investigate how the case of the woman who died last Sunday was handled.

The probe is separate to a Department of Health investigation into the circumstances in which mother of seven Ena Kiely died. Just one of the four-person team is an employee of the South Eastern Health Board.
