Hospital activists may link up with patients’ group
Talks between the Health Services Action Group (HSAG) and the patient representatives took place at the weekend following revelations the Government has not renewed the contract of the man charged with overseeing reconfiguration of acute hospital services.
The HSAG, an alliance of 16 hospital action groups from around the country, opposes the reforms proposed by David Hanly in his 2003 National Task Force on Medical Staffing report, commonly referred to as the Hanly report.
